Biography: Philippe became interested in music at a very young age and learned to play classical piano. It was as a teenager that he chose the guitar, became passionate about it, and decided to undertake college and then university studies. After playing for a few years in church, Philippe met Medad Ernest and joined his gospel choir. Through that choir, he met many musicians and singers from the gospel community of Montreal, including Ralph Télémaque, musical director of Jireh at the time. Ralph invited him to play in Jireh’s band a few times over several years, and Philippe participated in the recordings of the album “Get Up”.
